"Erasmus veneziano" programme: one study plan, one city, four institutions

Posted On 09-11-2021

Starting from autumn 2021, the educational offer of the Erasmus veneziano programme becomes richer and even more diversified thanks to the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and to the Benedetto Marcello Music Conservatory which are joining this unique Venetian exchange programme.

WHAT IS ERASMUS VENEZIANO?

It is a project launched in 2006 by Ca' Foscari and Iuav which, in the last 15 years, has allowed students from both universities to attend - without any additional fees - courses chosen among those offered by each institution, take the final exams and have their credits registered in the students' academic plan. Erasmus veneziano gives you the chance to enrich your study experience living in a different context, but always within the four higher education institutions of the city of Venice.

From November 2021, students from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory will also have the opportunity to join the programme, and - in the same way - the two historical Venetian institutions will open their doors to students from Ca' Foscari and Iuav.
This teamwork has been possible thanks to the synergies set in motion by Study in Venice, the network established in 2017 by the higher education institutions of Venice with the goal of stimulating the creation of joint educational and internationalization projects, with a special focus on improving students' experience and opportunities.
