The annual edition of the QS World University Ranking by subject evaluated the performance of 1,222 universities in single areas and disciplines and the Venetian universities stand out among the best universities of the world.
Ca’ Foscari University of Venice reached an important milestone, gaining the status of one of the best 100th Universities in the world for the study and teaching of languages. With a leap of almost 100 places in two years, Ca’ Foscari keeps climbing the QS ranking and positioned itself as the 116th University in the world for the study of Arts and Humanities. Both the Social Sciences and Management areas have also improved, where Ca’ Foscari got ahead of over 50 places and entered the world’s best 300 Universities for the first time. Further Ca' Foscari confirmed the presence of Economics and Econometrics in the top 250
Università Iuav improved its ranking in the area of Architecture gaining the status of one of the best 100th Universities in the world .
