One year ago - November 12th, 2019 - the second worst high tide in history hit the city of Venice: 80% of Venice was under water and the tide reached more than 180 cm above sea level. In order to preserve and enhance the memories of the inhabitants and visitors of Venice, in relation to the extreme natural events that occurred in the lagoon, Science Gallery created the Digital AquaGranda Archive - a participatory project, aiming to create a multimedia archive on the phenomenon of high water, available to anyone all over the world.
