Venice Academy of Fine Arts is involved in many collaborations together with international artists and institutions in order to provide students with great opportunities to learn and earn direct experience.
Tuesday May 7 at 5.30 p.m. at Magazzini del Sale n.3: opening of the exhibition by Peter Halley "Heterotopia I", curated by Gea Politi, in collaboration with Flash Art.
Proyection of the film doc "Uberto degli specchi" at Teatro Ca' Foscari on Wednesday May 8 at 10.30 a.m..
Thursday May 9 at 9.30 a.m. in room 7A - location: Incurabili - in collaboration with Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, conference/lecture by the American critic Nicholas Fox Weber: The Bauhaus lesson.
May 9 at 2.30 p.m. in room Aula Magna - location: Incurabili - the 9th edition of the CEI Venice Forum for Contemporary Art Curators, introduction by Paola Bristot and organization by the committes Trieste Contemporanea in cooperation with Iniziativa Centro Europea InCE (www.triestecontemporanea.it).
May 9 at 6.00 p.m., opening of the exhibition by Marcos Lutyens "Island Ark" at Galleria Alberta Pane, a proyect developed in collaboration with Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia (www.albertapane.com).
May 9 at 7.30 p.m. in the cloister at Incurabili, opening of the artwork Artificial Bionic Moon by Filippo Panseca and musical comment curated by maestro Nicola Cisternino.
Saturday May 11 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Incurabili", in collaboration with Swiss Art Council Prohelvetia, the opening of Salon Suisse, curated by Céline Eidenbenz, director of the Valais Art Museum in Sion (Switzerland). Accademia teacher Riccardo Caldura coordinated the collaboration with Pro Helvetia (biennals.ch).
