The exhibition Laboratori Metropolitani Mosca (Moscow Metropolitan Labs) will be open from March 18th to April 5th and will take place at Spazio Gino Valle (Cotonificio Iuav). The exhibition wants to communicate to the public the results of the 7th edition of the "Metropolitan Labs" research programmes.
This years's research and urban lab programme focuses on Moscow (Russia) and it was organized together with MARKHI Moscow Institute of Architecture. The cooperation among the academics and staff of each institution was key to identify the topics and study areas of the programme whose core is urban regeneration.
Students from Università Iuav, Università Politecnica delle Marche and MARKHI Moscow Institute of Architecture developed several projects for two areas in the city of Moscow that are currently under study for the development of alternative scenarios within urban regeneration: these two areas concern the railway terminals "Miussky" and the machine tool industry "Red Proletarian".
